I set consultation fees which I consider appropriate for my experience and expertise. My consultation times are generous and I include follow-up of results by telephone as part of a consultation. I set surgical fees which I consider appropriate for my experience and expertise. These bear no relationship to Scheduled Fees (set by Government) nor do they relate to AMA recommended fees. I do not negotiate with Medicare or Private Health Funds and I do not provide “no gap” services.
If surgery is planned, you will receive written quotations from my Surgical Co-ordinator. You will be required to confirm acceptance of my fees before your surgery can proceed. If you are self-funding, you will be required to pre-pay your surgery. If you do not accept my surgical fees, I will facilitate referral to an alternative practitioner.
